Elle Magazine features Olive and Love Shutter Wall

I'm super excited that my shutter wall has been featured internationally a couple times in the past few months.  Last fall, my friend in Turkey face-booked me with the news that she had seen my  shutter wall in her Turkish Newspaper.  Of course there was absolutely no credit and they had taken out my watermark.  But imagine the odds that my friend found it randomly on her front step!  Thanks Deniz!

Then in December, a design website in Israel featured the shutter wall, first asking permission and then crediting my work. The site is bvd.co.il .  Any Hebrew translators out there?

A couple months ago I was contacted by Elle magazine in France.  They were planning an article on recycled design ideas and wanted to use photos of my shutter wall in the January edition of their French magazine.  (wOoP WoOp!!)

I wasn't sure what to expect.   A little photo in an article on DIY home design ideas perhaps?  I was pleasantly surprised when I received my copy in the mail and my photo was spread across two pages.  AND they gave me credit ;-)

Something like:  After being inspired by a store in LA, Laura Durrer decided to dress a wall in her house with shutters.  On her blog, OLIVE AND LOVE she describes a tutorial on how to do this.
