747 Jumbo Jet Paper Airplane
"Mommy, would you make me a paper airplane?" Sounds easy enough right? R opens his Paper Creations Paper Airplane book to the '747 Jumbo'.
Twenty seven steps, two labor intensive hours and twelve hours of drying time later we have created a paper airplane so beautiful that I fear it's maiden voyage. I took pictures to document details before the doom of it's imminent fate.
While the glue dried, we used bobby pins to hold the engines and office clips for the body.
It was truly a magnificent piece if I do say so myself!
In all honesty it held up fairly well. This 747 has circled the family room at least 50 times and has only lost a few engines. It's hanger is located in my office and permission must be granted before flight due to lack in experience of some of our younger pilots.
