Watercolor Tie Dye Tissue Box Cover

My favorite watercolors are from Discount School Supplies. These vibrant, liquid watercolors are what we used in last year's school auction art project, "Our Universe." I filled two little containers with the watercolor and let my two and a half year old brush it on randomly.

Then I gave him a water squirt bottle and let him go at it.

In the dirt. In his pajamas.

He also sprayed it in the sink

The water helped the colors to bleed into each other and create a tie dye effect.

Then we filled the sink with potato peels and squirted them.

Big Brother helped.

Of course I forgot to take a photo of the finished product. So here it is, a year later. I'll get a picture of the purple one when I visit the other set of grandparents.
